why am i at a liberal arts college?

hardest class of the semester by far: Environmental History of North Africa and the Middle East

over the course of the past 2 weeks i have spent over 20 hours reading over 500 pages of "environmental" history, which is really just history except they emphasize water management and throw in words like "Islamic Green-Revolution" and "imperialistic deforestation." stupid breadth requirements

    LOL! Sorry, dude. Just be sure to mention in your essays that there is no such thing as global warming and that green house gases are a fiction made up by left wing liberals.

    just read Guns, Germs, and Steel (Jared Diamond is at UCLA ;-) and Collapse--that will give you more environmental history than you can shake a rainforest of sticks at...
